One of the methodologies we use in the project: Design Thinking as a way to achieve the Circular Economy.

When you view a product through the lenses of circular economy, you quickly realize that you need to design on different levels to realize circularity. You need to design the product itself so that it can be used as long as possible – through repair and upgrades - and so that it ultimately can be disassembled for recycling. But you also need to design business models and services for users that ensure the circular potential is fulfilled.

Sara Andersson - Designer and Strategist with a focus on creating sustainable change through design and systems thinking.

This is part of an interview with Sara Andersson, who explained how Design Thinking is a complete and useful methodology in order to develop circularity solutions. This is the methodology we are using in C-Voucher, and we wanted to share a bit about it. To read the complete interview, please follow this link.

The interview was done by Linda Backman, from C-Voucher partner Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth.
