  • Pol Marin Ruz will be in charge of supporting the management of ongoing research and innovation projects, as well as the strategic activities that position the cluster as the leading entity in the packaging sector at a national and international level.

As we already announced in the last post, after the incorporation of Carlos Jiménez, we welcome Pol Marin Ruz, the new Project Manager of the Packaging Cluster, who will help us manage ongoing research and innovation projects and all those activities that are strategic key for the entity.

Pol Marin Ruz is a young professional, proactive and entrepreneurial spirit, which led him to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Science from the University of Nebraska High School in the United States. He has taken various courses oriented to the business and technological world, such as the Business Management & Mini MBA by the International Business Management Institute in Berlin, or the Master Certification of SAP S / 4 HANA Finance at the UADIN Business School.

The Project Manager has work experience in the food sector as Assistant in the production phase and Administrative Purchasing Technician, in a Snacks company in Barcelona. Nowadays, the foodservice sector is key to the packaging ecosystem, and part of the activity carried out is focused on this sector, so these capabilities can be applied to the entity's expertise.

Thus, the Packaging Cluster restructures its organization and now has a multidisciplinary team, with young and proactive profiles that are complemented by their different training and experiences.

On the one hand, Àlex Brossa continues to represent the entity as Executive Head of the cluster, while Mireia Andreu becomes Innovation Manager, and will be in charge of managing the Packaging Observatory and the Training Plan. Mònica Riera will manage the entity's European and entrepreneurial projects, European Projects & Entrepreneurship, and Serena Rebollo will coordinate Communication and Marketing, in addition to the activity plan. Finally, Carlos Jiménez will be in charge of the circular economy projects, Circular Economy and Sustainability Project Manager, and Pol Marin, will manage projects and strategic activities for the cluster, Project Manager.
