The entity joins to the cluster reference on packaging of northern Europe

Joining to Packbridge is the result of collaboration between the two entities agreed, which will promote R&D and innovation in European level, first-handmarket information and participate in relevant events and activities.

Among the most significant activities emphasizes Live Seminars, that promotes knowledge on-line, the Top Packaging Summit, international conference, and the Research Forum, meeting point for researchers and industry in the Nordic countries.

The partnership between the two institutions began last year, where both organizations took part in a project to analyse market trends of consumers in Europe, where sessions were held in Malmö (Sweden), Lübeck (Germany) and Terrace (Catalonia).

This project, organized workshops in each place, which were energized by the three clusters of reference, which included the active participation of a representative sample of companies for each of its members, such as the Swedish Packbridge, the GermanFoodregio and the Catalan Packaging Clúster respectively.

This international collaboration adds to the recent agreement with Kopa (Seoul, South Korea), which will allows internationalization of partners and accelerate innovation globally.

Packbridge is the Swedish packaging cluster, founded in 2010, which includes members of the packaging industry, both nationally and internationally. Headquartered in Malmö (Sweden), promotes activities and projects. Also certified Bronze Label by the European Secretariat for Cluster Analysis (ESCA).
