Polish Ship Managers Association activities

VIII Information & Promotion PSMA Meeting took place in  DNV GL Poland in  April 19th, 2018. The meeting was attended by PSMA members and representatives of business and maritime administration. Ireneusz Kuligowski welcomed PSMA members and invited guests. Special Guests of the meeting from the Portland Port were:  Bill Reeves, CEO and Ian McQuade, General Manager-Commercial. About Polish Ship Managers’ Association activities in Poland and abroad – achievements informed Radoslaw Stefaniak,  Secretary of the PSMA. PSMA Draft Act on amending certatin laws in order to facilitate registration of ships under the Polish Flag has been extensively discussed by Dr Cpt. Cezary Łuczywek. On the threats in global maritime transport resulting from the development of computerization and cyber security for ship management companies” said Henrik Bach, Country Head, DNV GL Poland.

 Portland Port potential and activity was presented by Ian McQuade,–General Manager (Commercial), Portland Harbour Authority.  About InterMarine Group engineering services and new modern fully equipped facility at Portland Port (Dorset, UK) informed Slawomir Kalicki, CEO, and added that it is located just on quay, with easy acces from land and sea and can provide wide range of services for shipping and offshore industry.  Wilhelmsen Ships Service activity and its expansion in Poland” was subject of the presentation by, Henryk Zawadzki, Ships Agency Manager Poland & Baltic and  Michał Maziec, Account Manager Poland.
