Preparation is key - food SMEs in preparation of China Innovation Tour

The New Frontiers in Food Fast Forward (NF4) team is in preparation of the next Innovation Tour. From May 12-18 the next stop will be China. Two locations will be visited during the China Innovation Tour. Xiamen in the Fujian province, in which Foodvalley China is located, will be the first meeting point. An interactive session with presentations and pitches by the participating SMEs, will be followed by matchmaking and networking via table top displays for each company. The second meeting point will be Shanghai at which the SIAL China event will take place during this week. SIAL China is the largest Food Innovation event in Asia. Participation will allow to further discover the China market and to build further relations for market entry and/or innovation collaboration trajectories. In an interactive session on April 16th the Dutch participating food SME gathered at the Foodvalley NL office in Wageningen, The Netherlands. This enabled mutual introductions of the participating companies, explanation of the program of the Innovation Tour and the furhter preparatory actions. In the presence of the Foodvalley China colleagues the relevant information in preparation was shared for entering and collaborating within the Chinese food and ingredients market: preparation is key!  More information on the NF4 Innovation Tour to China can be found at www.newfrontiersinfood.eu
