Research & Development Maritime Technology Centre JSC ( Centrum Techniki Morskiej S.A. (CTM) specialises in the delivery of integrated mission systems for ships as well as naval weapon systems. Thanks to its expertise and research facilities, it has supplied its solutions to the Polish Navy and foreign customers for many years. In addition, it has participated in ambitious projects within the European Union and NATO.  CTM is actively participating in the Polish “Combating threats at sea” programme by executing the delivery of: the integrated mission systems for ships, the passive defence system and selected sensors and effectors for the newly constructed “Kormoran II” minehunter.

CTM’s main activity areas are:

• underwater weapon systems (systems for: monitoring the underwater situation, searching, identification and classification of sea mines, lightweight minesweeps, remotely and wireless fired charges to counter sea mines, fuses for noncontact mines, passive vessel protection etc.);

• command and control systems (ship combat management systems, systems designed to support rescue operations and automated command systems designed for the Polish Navy, etc.);

• maritime infrastructure protection systems (systems for the protection of ports and critical infrastructure, concerning detection, identification and classification of surface and underwater threats as well as methods of neutralizing and/or destroying them, etc.);

• radio communication and data exchange systems (HF and VHF/UHF radio devices utilized in integrated coastal and ship systems etc.);

• product testing and certification (Research Laboratories: Electromagnetic Compatibility Laboratory, Vibroacoustic, Shock Resistance and Magnetic Fields Laboratory, Product Certification Body (JCW)).

Since 2014 CTM belongs to the Polish Armaments Group S.A. (Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa S.A.) – the largest defence company in this part of Europe - an industry leader in the process of modernization of the Polish army.
