Smart specialization experts conference took place in the Port of Gdańsk in September 21th. The conference was organized in cooperation with the Marshal's Office. The special guest of the meeting was George Cambanis, an expert with more than 30 years of experience in the maritime industry, founder and CEO of Deloitte in Greece.

Marcin Osowski, Vice-President of the Port of Gdansk Authority, Marcin Osowski, representatives of the Economic Development Department of the Marshal's Office of the Pomeranian Voivodeship, President of the newly established Polish PCS Company, Przemyslaw Targowski, representatives of the Port of Gdansk and Port of Gdynia (memebers of the Polish Maritime Cluster), and the members of the Pomerania Intelligent Specialist Board participated in the debate. During the conference, representatives of the participating start-ups have presented  the latest solutions offered by their companies. TheConstruct, Parkanizer, VIStechnologie and Full Fresh Air companies are innovative ideas which can improve the maritime and port industries.
