SPACE2IDGO PROJECT CONSORTIUM MET FOR TWO DAYS IN MATERA, ITALY, IN JULY 8TH AND 9TH 2019

The SPACE2IDGO consortium meeting hosted in the premises of Openet Technologies SPA, on behalf of TeRN Consortium, was the opportunity to promote one more time the project to SMEs. Openet Technologies is an Italian SME promoting innovation through the use of space technologies to benefit to societal challenges such as education, entrepreneurship, telecommunication and training. In line with the scope of SPACE2IDGO project, Openet Technologies works for the international development in driving several projects in Africa.

These two days meeting was introduced by the President of TeRN, Antonio Colangelo who invited local SMEs to join the SPACE2IDGO project and welcomed the participants on behalf of Basilicata Region President, Vito Bardi who cannot join the meeting for other Institutional commitments.  It followed with a presentation of Openet Technologies SPA by the Chief Operating Officer, Filomena Cuccarese.

A consortium meeting reviewing the project workpackages and action to be implemented until end of December was undertaken.

The project partners warmly thank our host that allows us to drive a fruitful meeting at six months from its end.

This project has received funding from the European Union’s COSME programme (2014-2020).
