Submitted by Clémence Castell on 20 February 2020

The STARTUP3 project and acceleration programme

Pôle SCS is proud to announce the successful launch of the STARTUP3 project. Besides accelerating deep-tech startups in Europe, STARTUP3 aims at building an ecosystem where scaleups, technology SMEs, deep-tech ventures, will be given an opportunity to bring their innovative projects into an industry. The target audience will be guided by experts from digital clusters and Digital Innovation Hubs who will support and connect them with big players, as well as select the most promising potentials.

The project is supported by a state of the art consortium staring: the clusters Pôle SCS, Latvian IT Cluster, ITC Cluster, the Greek National Documentation Center EKT, the startup studio Hola-Up, the consultancy firm InoSens, the innovative agritech compagny AGENSO.

This project is funded under the ICT-33 (Startup Europe for Growth and Innovation Radar) call of the European Commission Horizon 2020 programme.

STARTUP3 Open Call

Today (20th of February 2020) is launched the STARTUP3 Open Call, open until 20, April. Out of all applicants, the best 25 will be selected to take part in a three-stages acceleration programme in which after the first phase the 10 best potentials will be selected, and after the second phase, 5 best ideas/projects will have the opportunity to reach the market represented by large corporations involved in the project.

Open Call application platform: evaluation.startup3.eu/apply

STARTUP3 Discovery Missions

Three discovery missions will be hosted by the different digital cluster partners of the project (Pôle SCS in South-Eastern France, ITC in North-Eastern Slovenia, and Latvian IT Cluster in Latvia). It will be the occasion to learn from one another and make connections, since each of them will present their deep-tech ecosystems mechanisms and main actors.

The first discovery mission will be hosted on 27, March as a WEBINAR, by Pôle SCS.
