In a time of COVID-19 crises and self-isolation ICT Cluster is helping entrepreneurs and young business dreamers to prepare their business plan to start cross-border exchange

ICT Cluster is implementing project YEIM under the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme that gives opportunity to people that dream to start or just started business to have cross-border exchange with experienced entrepreneurs and learn all tips and tricks how to build successful business. For over 10 years ICT Cluster is functioning as an Intermediate Organization for Bulgaria, facilitating exchanges between New and Host entrepreneurs from Europe.

Since the beginning of the programme in 2009, ICT Cluster has more than 100 New entrepreneurs (NEs) registered on the Erasmus platform and half of them have found their Host entrepreneur (HE) and successfully finished the exchange. Nearly 90% of the NEs gained the strength, confidence and skills to start their own business. There are no restrictions regarding the business sector. ICT Cluster had supported entrepreneurs with business ideas in education, IT, tourism, finance, law, film making, art, food sector, marketing, etc.

Nowadays during the COVID-19 crisis the programme is still ongoing and younge entrepreneurs could use the time to prepare thier buinsess plans, find a host and start their exchanges right after the crises. Currently, 2 NEs are negotiating their starting dates with the experienced partners and 3 relationships are ongoing, where Bulgarian entrepreneurs are working safely and remotely with their hosts in other European countries.
