Vojvodina Metal Cluster has been working on developing new service towards its members called "VMC Clinics".

SMEs have problem with insufficient development of their internal organization, equipment and human resources when it comes to knowledge and competences in business processes which are crucial for competitiveness in domastic and international market, such as: research and development of new product, innovations, knowledge and technology transfer, internationalization and export, standardization and certification, strategic and operation management, and similiar. Since the owners of the companies are too focused on daily liquidity, they do not have time or financial/ human resources to solve these issues on their own. Individually and only from time to time they choose to deal with it, only when they have to. So they engage consulting agencies paying extremely high prices.

For that reason, cluster forms "Expert team'', based on requests and precisely defined problems by particular SME, that will analyze the issue, visit particular SME, suggest possible solutions, connect with other SMEs that have the same or similar problem/experience and provide permanent support in sorting out the same.  Expert team consists of representatives of cluster support institutions (universities, innovation and technology centers, etc.), representatives of other interested SMEs, cluster members and cluster management.
