Futur en Seine, Europe’s largest digital festival, free and open to all, took place from June 8th to 10th at the Villette in Paris and until June 18th in the entire Paris Region. For its eighth edition, the festival welcomed 22 000 innovation enthusiasts, gathered to test 200 demos, meet start-ups and attend provocative conferences. This year, the festival focused on new forms of intelligence: artificial, creative, collective … A theme that brings to the foreground both business opportunities, as well as broader social issues. If robots “steal” our jobs, can we imagine a new future for work ? What if tomorrow’s GPs are A.I ?

Futur en Seine, by gathering the entire digital ecosystem, researchers, users, corporates, and innovators took on these questions and explored the future in all its complexity. This willingness to exchange and connect is at the heart of Futur en Seine, created in 2009 by Cap Digital, Paris Region’s business cluster for digital content and services.
