Description

Digital, Intelligent, Connected, Sustainable - mobility smart thinking.

Mobility is an important basic requirement of our society. In addition, mobility is one of the driving forces behind progress and growth in our economy. Smart mobility is far more than coming from A to B. Customers expect mobility that is appropriate to their needs and to the respective life situation. This requires a functioning Mobility Ecosystem; New business models are becoming increasingly important at the interfaces between manufacturers, suppliers, infrastructure operators, mobility providers and municipalities. It is already certain today: Without partnerships and a compatible design of the interfaces within the mobility ecosystem, smart mobility can not become  suitable for daily use.

In times of share economy, digitization and sustainability, the automotive industry and its suppliers face enormous challenges. The question is how their business models have to be adapted for smart mobility so that they can survive in the mobility ecosystem. One possible starting point is circular economy.
