Description

On the 14th and 15th of March 2019, the Cyber Secure Light project partners will meet again in Barcelona on the 2nd plenary meeting to finalize the Joint Cluster Partnership Strategy and brainstorm how to address the cybersecurity issues highlighted by their member companies through tailored B2B matchmaking and capacity building activities.

In fact, it is of paramount importance to create transnational cooperation opportunities within the smart building ecosystem, both at clusters and companies level, in order to increase linkages, international exposure and enable commercial partnerships to facilitate access to innovative technologies and investment in the cyber-smart building sector. Moreover, as the real competition is global, thus interconnected cluster realities have to engage in "co-operation for competition" to reinforce the competitiveness of EU clusters companies on worldwide markets.

Thus partners, guided by the Cyber Secure Light Partnership Strategy, will plan the launch of the matchmaking dialogs between technology providers and SMEs from the smart building value chain (with a specific focus on lighting, domotics, energy efficient and intelligent buildings), as well as the organization of business coaching and capacity building sessions for companies to progress their innovation-led growth and knowledge on cybersecurity challenges.
