On February, 12th and 13th 2019, the EACN project’s consortium will meet in SA&AM headquarters (Katowice Special Economic Zone Co.) in Katowice, Poland. Two internal workshops are organised: one on the consortium strategy development and another one on the service package development. The aim is to define priorities in four topics selected during the preparatory phase of the project:
- Virtualisation and planning processes (Simulation & modelling)
- Robotics and Artificial intelligence in production processes
- Elasticity of production processes in SMEs
- Skills and competences (transversal activity/recommendations)
A roadmap for actions defining support measures that enable companies to create innovation and investment projects must also be created.
These internal workshops will also be the opportunity for the EACN for Joint Industrial Modernisation Investments partners to organise the 4 online thematic workshops dedicated to their members.
The EACN for Joint Industrial Modernisation Investments project coordinated by the competitiveness cluster Pôle Véhicule du Futur gathers the Galician Automotive Cluster Foundation, the Automotive Industry Cluster of Catalonia, the Silesian Automotive and Advanded Manufacturing, the Automotive Cluster Bulgaria and the Automotive Cluster Serbia. It targets European SMEs in the Automotive sector and plans to create networks between these SMEs so that they can share their ideas, costs but also risks and cooperate in a cross-border perspective. The final objective of the project is to give birth to 5 collaborative projects in R&D or investments between SMEs.
