Description

On Wednesday February 27th, Enterprise Ireland, together with Wet Networks (Arup and WRc initiative), will hold a water and wastewater innovation seminar in Dublin. With the UK’s Asset Management Period (AMP) 7 moving ever closer, this event will bring together key industry stakeholders from the UK and Ireland to discuss the key innovation trends and challenges facing the sector as it moves into a new spending cycle. The greater focus placed by Ofwat (UK water regulator) on customer engagement and longer-term outcomes better enables service providers to innovate and invest for the longer term in the best interest of their customers. It’s clear that new ways of working and new approaches are required to address the challenges facing the sector, to facilitate and enable innovation and to find better ways of using scarce resources.

The keynote address will be provided by Trevor Bishop, Director of Strategy and Policy – Water Resources South East with confirmed attendance from Yorkshire Water and Arup, among others.
