Description

The German leading-edge cluster Cool Silicon wants to extend its operations to an international level, in particular with regard to joint R&D projects. In order to gather project ideas we invite all interested parties to an iCool Idea Workshop which will be held on June 20th. in conjunction with the Silicon Saxony Day in Dresden.  Within the scope of "iCool", at least 3 projects shall be developed with international partners. While the German partners will get up to 3 million Euro from the German funding agency, a respective amount of funding is expected also by the international partners. Projects will be developed in the fields of production and process technologies with regard to semiconductor production, wireless technologies as well as sensor networks. All projects should have a strong focus on the core competency of the cluster Cool Silicon which is energy efficiency for and by ICT. Participants of the idea workshop will pitch their project ideas and discuss them afterwards during a matchmaking to identify potential partners. This session will be conducted with the professional support of a knowledge management team. The workshop will be held in conjunction with the yearly Silicon Saxony Day in Dresden. Please make sure you are registered at Silicon Saxony Day (June 19/20, 2017).
