The International Forum for Responsible Tourism, FIFTH EDITION
The Amfiteatru Foundation is organizing the fifth edition of the International Forum for Responsible Tourism.
The event will take place in Bucharest between September 28-29th 2017 and the theme of this edition is “Sustainable development for the community”.
Objective: Creating a communication and working platform between communities and authorities using knowledge, promotion and dissemination of responsible tourism practices for sustainable development
Format: Main conference and dedicated workshops
The main objective of this edition is to bring forward all parties involved in the hospitality industry, that have an impact for the communities of which they belong, including representatives from local and central authorities.
With the experience gathered in previous editions, we came to the conclusion that the creation of such platform is vital in terms of creating and implementing an efficient responsible tourism strategy for the market, which can have direct results for the local communities.
The agenda intends to bring topics of discussion such as:
Identities and experiences – as vectors for the sustainable development of communities
Good practices of public development based on local identity
Creative industries and their role in community development
Social capital, education and community hospitality
Identity and technological innovation as premises in touristic marketing
Programs and projects based on community resources
Foreign Entrepreneurs in Romania
