Description

The eighth edition of the NATCON Science and Technology Conference, along with the parallel BALT-MILITARY-EXPO Baltic Milit ary Fair, is the most important event in the BalticSea Region dedicated to the naval technologies used to increase national defence capabilities and ensure national security. The main objective of NATCON is to build an international exchange platform for naval know-how to enable a dialogue between the users, the industry and R&D centres. Owing to its high position in the calendar of conferences on naval defence and security, the conference increases its reach with every edition.

In 2016, NATCON participants included: Polish Ministry of National Defence Secretary of State Bartosz Kownacki, Deputy Chief of the National Security Bureau (BBN) Jarosław Brysiewicz, Inspector for the Navy RAdm Mirosław Mordel, Commander of the Maritime Operations Centre – Maritime Component Commander VAdm Dr Stanisław Zarychta, Commander of the Maritime Unit of  the Border Guard RAdm BG Piotr Stocki, Ministry of Development Offset Programmes Department Director Prof. Hubert Królikowski, UK Deputy National Hydrographer, Chief of the Polish Navy’s Hydrographic Office, commanders of tactical formations of the Polish Navy, science and industry representatives, with Polish Armaments Group (PGZ), representatives of the organisers and co-organisers.
