The European project S3martMed, funded by the European Union’s COSME programme, gathers 5 Clusters dedicated to Healthcare and Medical technologies: Lyonbiopole (Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes), BioWin (Wallonia), BioRegioStern (Baden-Württemberg ), bioPmed (Piedmont), MedSilesia (Upper Silesia), forming a strategic alliance. The purpose of the alliance is to set up  joint activities and events for the emergence of interregional business / technological collaborations in the medical technologies with a specific attention on SMEs’ growth.

In order to foster collaboration between the European players, S3martMed organizes its second Brokerage event “S3martMed needs SmartTech” - Serving tomorrow's medical devices, on June 25th 2020.

Participation is free of charge 

The MedTech sector, both traditional medical technology organizations and new market entrants are capitalizing on recent advances in a broad array of technologies such as advanced materialsadvanced manufacturing technologies, and advanced software to develop and provide personalized, connected and targeted health care solutions. In the domain, the Research and Technology Organizations (RTOs), by providing expert services and state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, are particularly crucial to support technological development (feasibility, prototyping, demonstration) and reduce time-to-market for innovative companies. 

European industry players, SMEs, researchers and clinicians in MedTech are invited to join the event, as a unique opportunity to:

  • Learn more about key innovations in advanced material, advanced manufacturing technologies and advanced software for medical devices in Europe;
  • Network with other players including RTOs through face-to-face meetings;
  • Get information and support for your future collaboration
