Smart Solutions for Socially Relevant Innovations in Visegrad Four Regions

Surfing the digital waves opens new opportunities and also accelerate positive effects to the society and economy. How can create businesses a real value from this new age of the Internet? Does it mean brand new products and services by using smart solutions? What kind of new business models are generated by Industry 4.0? Is being always connected a big challenge for the customers? How can citizens improve their performance in digitalised world?

The Society – ICT – Economy  - Industry 4.0 international conference try to give the answers for these questions.

The V4mula project partners representing the civil society, the education for young people, the service sector for innovation and IT have been working together to make Industry 4.0 trends more successful in Visegrad Four regions.

“The cross-regional expertise available via the 4 regional workshops within the project have been a great help in developing the thematic focus of our conference” says Ms Zsuzsanna PINTÉR, INNOSKRT ICT Cluster, the organiser of the event. Our aim is to call for a more intensive cooperation between the innovation actors in our regions. It is worth exploring shared strengths and development opportunities in the area of Industry 4.0 (also called the “smart factory”). The V4 countries may, for example, rely on manufacturing industry, as a typically strong sector in the economies of the region. V4mula partners’ aim is the establishment of a network serving as a supportive tool to develop new innovation projects.

During the opening plenary session the participants will get a 360 degree regional perspective on digitalisation and its effect on the economy and society.

The first session is about cooperation and innovation. As the Visegrad Four countries are lagging behind the EU states in average R&D spending – the experts draw the attention for the importance of cooperation and also the common strategy for sharing information and knowledge.

Regional best practices are shared in the afternoon round table conversations and help us to catch up our innovation partners from other Central European countries.

The parallel exhibition is the stage for promotion of new technologies and international R&D&I cooperation focusing on Industry 4.0.

The networking breaks help the participants in getting new contacts and exchanging good and bad practices.

The event is organized by INNOSKART ICT Cluster and its partners and supported by the International Visegrad Fund www.visegradfund.org (The V4mula Project No.: 21520396). The registration is free.
