Description

GAIA hosted a matchmaking event with a Turkish delegation coming from the Tubitak Tusside (the Turkish Management Sciences Institute). This event was part of the DOKAP project, the Eastern Black Sea Region Project, which aims to collect experiences from different cluster based economies within Europe, in order to apply models to the Black Sea Region in Turkey.

From the Turkish part, there were 11 representatives coming from the institute and the regional government, who presented their region as well as information of the DOKAP project. From the Basque side, there were representatives from the city council of Bilbao (Bilbao Ekintza) , Mondragon University (MU), the Basque Business Development Agency (SPRI) and GAIA.

After all presentations, both parts made a visit to the BBF building which is considered a proper ecosystem for learning, innovation and entrepreneurship.
