HYDRO 2018 was held in Gdansk, Poland. Technical sessions, bringing together experts from across the world, was held on issues currently faced by the international hydropower and dams community. A special informal meeting of scientists and experts was organized by Mr Olav Myklebust, The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway. The meeting of the Maritime Council of smart specialization of Pomerania took place in STARTER on October 15, 2018. The participants discussed the main directions and activities of enterprises, universities and research institutes. It is agreed that the main areas of activity will not be undone. This autumn will see novel ways of meeting, thought out by Biopeople cluster managers to engage and encourage active involvement and interaction. High Tea and Open Space are meant to be ‘experimental events’ where knowledge sharing and matchmaking are facilitated by ways of meeting quite new to traditional academic settings in life science.
