1st batch of SecurIT funded projects -21 innovations for more secured, safe and resilient Smart Cities and Territories
SecurIT closed its 1st open call at the end of April 2022, which gathered 240 SME applicants from 33 different EU and H2020 associated countries. At the end of the evaluation process, 21 innovative projects – lead by 48 SMEs in total - have been selected for funding after the Jury Day pitch session which was held in Paris, La Défense in June 2022.
The funded projects have kicked off on 15th September 2022 the 12-month support programme provided by the consortium partners . They address several challenges in the three key domains identified by potential end-users, with the common objective of improving citizens’ security by protecting infrastructures, public spaces as well as forecasting natural disasters. Become SecurIT Ambassador Cluster!
Ambassador Clusters are mobilized for supporting the SecurIT project developments. They are helping the consortium to raise awareness about the SecurIT project achievements and to disseminate information on the collaborative projects’ offer to stakeholders from all EU Member States (and Associated Countries) through their network.
The main benefits of being part of the network are to :
✅ Get an early-access to information provided by the SecurIT Consortium (ahead of external organisations)
✅Support your members to participate in the Open Calls of the SecurIT project and have a facilitated access to funding opportunities available
✅ Collaborate with the SecurIT project for potential joint events or similar activities
50% of the SecurIT first open call laureates are registered in the Ambassador clusters’ countries. 15 security clusters from 14 European countries are part of the SecurIT Ambassador Cluster network. Save the date !
A private webinar session will be organized on 12th December by SecurIT consortium for Ambassador Clusters and their members to get early-access to precious information regarding the application and selection processes of the 2nd open call. During this session we will focus on presenting SecurIT’s funding instruments, the targeted security challenges to be addressed, the selection criteria & process and the matchmaking support offered by the consortium to find partners and apply.
