INGENIOUS Consortium Held sixth Workshop on Challenges in Energy Intensive Industries

On 13th April, the INGENIOUS consortium organized its sixth workshop, focusing on the challenges and solutions available in the Energy Intensive Industries (EII). The workshop, titled "Closing loops for efficient and sustainable process Innovation," was part of a series of eight meetings designed to address various topics related to EII.
Mr. Jose Ramón Natal from the MetaIndustry4 cluster, the partner of the INGENIOUS project, moderated the workshop. Mrs. Ewa Rekosz, the coordinator of the project, began by presenting the INGENIOUS project, followed by Jose Ramón Natal from MI4, who discussed Innovation Grants and their conditions and requirements for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to apply.
Next, Mr. Juan Luis Carús from TSK discussed "System for the 3D digitisation of multi-environment industrial plants compatible with Virtual Reality systems." Mrs. Maria Cabo from Pisa Proyectos de Innovación introduced " Development of an intelligent energy analysis system to move towards sustainability and decarbonisation in the value chain of the metal-mechanic sector ." Then Mrs. Elena Fernández introduced „Feasiblity of new energy resources“. The final presentation was given by Mr. Víctor Martínez from Idesa who presented " Process automatization to increase efficiency in UE capital goods manufacturer for energy sector."
At the workshop's conclusion, Mr. Jose Ramón Natal invited all participants to attend the remaining workshops and encouraged them to follow INGENIOUS on social media.
The seventh workshop, dedicated to the challenge " Towards a safer and more efficient Energy transition and to ensure the energy supply," will take place on 20th April from 16:00 – 17:00.
