SmartSport4GoodLife project ended at ISE fair in Barcelona.

After 3 years of duration, the SmartSport4GoodLife project has seen its conclusion with the final event in Barcelona last week, from the 30th of January to the 01st of February. The event was hosted by INDESCAT, Catalan Sport Cluster, which brought the project partners to ISE, the Integrated Systems Europe, the largest AV systems integration fair in the world.

The professional fair of audio and video systems was the occasion for the partners of the European project “SmartSports4GoodLife” to experience technological innovation in the field of sports. The project partners which participated at the final event and the fair in Barcelona have been INDESCAT (Spain), Cluster Montagne (France), Cluster Sports & Technology (The Netherlands), MSE Hungarian Sport & Lifestyle (Hungary), and EPSI, the European Platform for Sport Innovation.

The first day of the conclusive meeting of the SmartSports4GoodLife project, Monday 30th of January, was dedicated to the final conference of the event, where it had been presented the outcomes of the project as the last exchange of the partnership. The day following, the 31st of January, project partners visited the D Factory, the hub for the creation of an ecosystem to encourage the promotion and development of 4.0 industry.

The project’s consortium on Wednesday 1st of February visited the ISE fair: the group had a guided tour and attended a series of seminars to learn more about new trends, technologies and solutions in the audiovisual sector that may be interesting and applicable to the sports sector.

SmartSports4GoodLife, co-funded by the COSME programme of the European Union and coordinated by INDESCAT with the participation of the European Sport Clusters Cluster Sports & Technology, Cluster Montagne and MSE Cluster and the European platform for Sport Innovation EPSI.

The SmartSports4GoodLife project ended last week in Barcelona but the results obtained during its three years of lifelong will continue to improve the future of the sports industry.

This joint mission is part of the European project SmartSports4GoodLife, co-funded by the COSME programme of the European Union, coordinated by INDESCAT and with the participation of the European Sport Clusters: Cluster Sports & Technology, Cluster Montagne and MSE Cluster and the European platform for Sport Innovation EPSI
