CREATHRIV-EU Empowers Creative and Cultural Industries with Successful Grant Program Completion

CREATHRIV-EU is thrilled to announce the successful completion of its application and awarding phases. As a groundbreaking project dedicated to supporting the green and digital transition, promoting greater participation by women, and increasing business opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the creative and cultural industries (CCIs), CREATHRIV-EU is committed to addressing the significant challenges faced by CCIs and propelling them towards a prosperous future. By awarding grants for innovative projects and activities, CREATHRIV-EU aims to empower CCIs and contribute to their growth and success.

The program received an overwhelming response from innovators across Europe, with a budget of €1,045,000. During the application phase, 217 applications were received, highlighting the high demand for funding opportunities among SMEs. Among the applicants, 130 SMEs from 19 countries demonstrated their entrepreneurial spirit and ambition by submitting their projects for consideration.

After careful evaluation, CREATHRIV-EU proudly announces that 127 projects have been awarded a total budget of €1,034,500. These awarded projects represent a diverse range of sectors and initiatives, reflecting the program's commitment to fostering green and digital transition and promoting equality. The funding has been distributed across the following categories: 32 Collaboration Pilot Projects, 16 Small-Scale Advisory, 30 Small-Scale Up/Re-Skilling, 23 Intra-EU travel grants, and 26 Extra-EU Travel Grants. The awarded projects comprise the participation of 81 SMEs from 15 different countries. The successful countries, including Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, and Ukraine, demonstrate their dedication to cross-border collaborations and entrepreneurial ventures across Europe.

Giovanni Scaramuzzo, the lead of the project at CREATHRIV-EU, expressed enthusiasm regarding the program's success. "We are delighted to witness such an overwhelming response to our funding program. The awarded projects will now proceed to their respective implementation phases, where CREATHRIV-EU will continue to provide guidance and support to ensure the successful realisation of their objectives. The organisation remains dedicated to nurturing SME growth, fostering collaboration, and catalysing innovation within the European business landscape.
