Project Title: Developing the Potential of the Silesian Aviation Cluster through the Expansion of Its Offering of Innovative Products and Services to Cluster Members.

An information system, an internet platform creating a database of entities in the Polish drone market. The scope of the Information Database of the UAV Ecosystem platform will be the central point for collecting information about the Polish drone market. The premise for its creation is the large number of dispersed stakeholders (businesses, academic institutions) that are individually engaged in creating elements and entire UAV systems.

Their dispersion, small-scale activities, and short operational periods result in limited mutual knowledge about each other. This leads to duplicating work on similar technologies, difficulties in integrating different solutions, and seeking synergy to build national solutions in the field of drone production and application.

The purpose of the platform is to build a nationwide database of entities participating in the value chain of the UAV ecosystem, available technological solutions, research and development work, their purpose, and level of advancement, etc. The aim is to facilitate the orientation of entities interested in both the production and the use of UAV technologies and systems. Integrators and system manufacturers should have easier access to individual providers of technological solutions, components, and subsystems. End customers and state institutions (e.g., the Ministry of Infrastructure) should have access to knowledge about potential national solutions in the field of UAV.

Thanks to the drone information technology platform, companies or public institutions will be able to:

  • Identify and find potential suppliers.
  • Communicate their requirements.
  • Generate a pre-classification questionnaire.
  • Prepare an invitation to submit offers and an invitation to negotiate.
  • Place a request for proposals.
  • Receive proposals from suppliers.
  • Evaluate suppliers.
  • Engage in additional negotiations and decide on contract signing.
  • Manage the progress of the contract.
  • Collaborate effectively with the supplier of the product, subsystem, or technology and know-how.
