The region's economic base is diversified, which contributes to its resilience and stability. Warsaw, being the capital of Poland, is the financial and economic centre of Mazovia and the entire country. Mazovia has a well-developed manufacturing sector, with companies involved in sectors such as automotive, electronics, machinery, and chemical production. The region's central location and well-developed infrastructure make it attractive for manufacturing and distribution companies.

EXCITE's project partner MCICT is the premier cooperation platform that brings together over 400 dynamic companies employing 300,000 skilled professionals, generating more than Euro 5 billion in revenues. In addition, we collaborate with 6 cutting-edge R&D institutions, and 3 investment funds, and engage with both local and central administration to create a thriving ecosystem for innovation and growth. MCICT's Core Activity is to initiate, create, and manage Polish and International Project Consortia with the active participation of our members and international partners. We are the driving force behind innovative projects that fuel economic growth, technological advancement, and sustainable development.

Financial Support

Participating SMEs, RTOs, and clusters can benefit from financial support within the frame of the EXCITE project. Receive a €305 lump sum/organization for your attendance during the three full days of the mission.

About EXCITE

EXCITE aims to strengthen cluster management and facilitate exchange and strategic partnership between cluster staff and cluster members by using the ClusterXchange system. ClusterXchange is a new pilot project to promote short-term exchanges to better connect industrial ecosystems in Europe. The project will focus on skills, processes and services related to digital transformation - both in terms of the cluster organisation itself and its members, to be able to support them in successfully accessing global markets.
