How cool pool controls can save money...

  • Medium-sized hotel saves € 1 500 a year using pool sensor controls
  • Other energy saving measures helped save a further € 5 000

Triada Hotel lies in the heart of a quiet neighborhood of Sofia, next to a park, sports complex, and other popular attractions. It serves business and leisure guests, including wedding parties, sports teams, and international customers. Triada has some 70 rooms and offers a restaurant, sky bar, two conference halls, a small business centre, a fitness centre, spa and beauty salon, art shop and indoor parking.

Key impact

Energy use and efficient operations are a high priority at the hotel, so an energy management optimisation programme was introduced which involved:

  • Replacing inefficient light bulbs with energy-saving ones
  • Installing water limiters and pressure regulators
  • Installing an outdoor temperature sensor to control the cooling pump (which works alongside the manual controller)
