Originating from Silesia's glider industry, the Silesian Aviation Cluster in Poland now encompasses 120 aerospace companies. Once central to Poland's black coal mining industry, the region has transformed into a critical driver of technological advancement and economic growth, benefiting from EU and foreign investment and a skilled workforce. The cluster supports businesses, particularly SMEs, by providing resources and opportunities for global outreach, as exemplified by KP Labs' growth and international reach. Clusters like this are vital for fostering competitiveness, innovation, and economic resilience, and they have a significant impact on regional GDP and employment.
