Calling all EU small and medium enterprises and SME stakeholders! You're cordially invited to attend the 12th EU-U.S. Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Workshop in Birmingham, Alabama on 13 September 2023.

Convened by the Commission's DG GROW, as well as the DG TRADE, in collaboration with the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, the Department of Commerce, and the Small Business Administration, this workshop offers a unique opportunity to engage with government officials, SMEs, and associations from both sides of the Atlantic.

The agenda for the workshop is packed with compelling topics that are bound to ignite your entrepreneurial spirit. Participants will have the opportunity to delve into discussions surrounding the EU-U.S. Technology and Trade Council's efforts to foster transatlantic competitiveness, encourage technological leadership, and deepen trade and investment cooperation. Additionally, vital subjects such as SME access to finance in the current economic environment, crafting effective international strategies to drive equitable growth in the EU and the U.S., as well as exploring exciting trade and investment opportunities between the EU and Alabama, will be explored.
