Description

Canada is a major importer of goods and services that can provide many opportunities for EU businesses of all sizes.

In cooperation with the European Union Chamber of Commerce in Canada, EUCCAN, the European Commission is organising a round table for SMEs on 21 September 2021 at 15:00 CET.

EU-Canada’s Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement’s (CETA) is an ambitious free trade agreement that covers all aspects of EU-Canadian trade. The round-table will celebrate four years since it came into force.

This event is for SMEs who are not yet exporting their products or services to Canada but are interested, or those who are already exporting their products or services but are looking to expand.

Participants will learn from EU companies who have experience in using the CETA agreement to enter the Canadian market. They will also get practical advice from experts, including information on the EU’s Access2Markets portal, the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) and national trade authorities.

A key goal of the event is to show how free trade can aid business’s recovery during the Covid-19 pandemic and help SMEs to become more international.

Don’t miss out!
