New ECCP Profile Registration Process & User Manual

Submitted by ECCP Team on 25 April 2023

The European Cluster Collaboration Platform has the collaboration between different clusters’ stakeholders at its core. To ease this collaboration, we optimized the profile registration process as well as the visualization of profiles on the platform. The new registration process has been designed to make it easier for users to sign up, edit and start using the available services. It is now more streamlined, intuitive, and less time-consuming than ever before.

In order to support you with updating your specific profile, we organized a series of webinars where we will go through the respective profile type and filled out the necessary fields together.  🎬Watch past webinar recordings:

🗓️5 September 2023: Cluster Organisation Profile

🗓️7 September 2023: Cluster Member Profile

Among the novelties of the registration process is the differentiation between PRO and STANDARD types of users on the ECCP, depending on the richness of information shared whilst creating / editing a profile (completion of more than 50% of non-mandatory entry fields). Reaching Pro User status comes with several benefits - not only are you showing professionality and visitors of your profile are able to directly see valuable information but being a Pro User is also coupled with access to interesting additional functionalities and services on the European Cluster Collaboration Platform, such as our newest tool: the Trend Universe. This is a new strategic foresight instrument of the ECCP to help your organization to identify mega and macro trends in the 14 industrial ecosystems having a direct impact on markets, technologies and businesses. We encourage every user on the European Cluster Collaboration Platform to spend the time during the registration process to become a Pro User!

For a smooth transition, please consider the following important point: When editing your profile for the first time after the optimization you might find fields that now appear empty, despite they were already filled-in in your old profile. This is due to some changes in the used taxonomy. Please take the time to fill in all fields ensuring that all profile information is up to date and visualized correctly on your new profile page.

You can refer to the user manual we created with the aim of walking you through the process. This step-by-step guide will help you understand each step of the profile registration process and make it easier for you to navigate through the platform. We hope you enjoy the new changes on the platform – feel free to reach out to us via admin [at] clustercollaboration.eu if there are any questions.
