The COSME Programme, which operated from 2014 to 2020, aimed to enhance SME competitiveness through various support initiatives. It encompassed projects such as the Enterprise Europe Network, Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs, tourism and social economy projects, IPR Help desks, cluster internationalization and excellence initiatives, as well as projects promoting innovation procurement and streamlining procurement procedures to be more SME-friendly. Additionally, COSME facilitated studies and established forums for effective interaction with key stakeholders, including the SME envoys, the SME Assembly, and the SME Performance review.
