On the first day of the INNOFORM® Trade Fair, an industry conference will be held, during which the topic of recycling will be discussed. The issue of environmental protection requirements and regulations affecting the activity and further development of the polymer plastics industry will be discussed. The conference will be divided into two panels.

Panel l Sustainability
The first panel will focus on the subject of sustainable development in the area of polymers and the impact of new domestic and international regulations on the condition of business. The guests of the panel will be representatives of many sectors of the economy: automotive, packaging, railways, who will share their experiences on how eco-requirements affect their industries in practice.

Panel II ESG and regulations
The subject of the second panel will be devoted to ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) factors that will have an extremely significant impact on business operations in the coming years. The participants of the panel will be practitioners, representatives of the banking sector and the world of science, who will discuss the subject from various angles. They will answer, including the question of how to prepare a company for the implementation of a sustainable development policy.
The discussion will be complemented by a presentation of the results of two international projects realized within the Horizon 2020 program (Better Factory) and the Cornet Initiative (Functional tool surfaces covered with smooth diamond coatings for shaping aluminum sheets - DiAlForm). The participants of the Better Factory project will present the solutions that have been developed during the work. After the meeting will be time to establish cooperation. The members of the DiAlForm project consortium will present actual state of play of research and development on the topics covered by their work. There will be also an opportunity to exchange experiences involved preparation and realization of international projects.
This year, The INNOFORM® Trade Fair will be expanded by the Plastics Recycling Exhibition, where companies will be able to present products and solutions aimed at minimizing the negative impact of plastic processing on the environment.
