SIVI Cluster Training Workshop attends: How can clusters grow and become sustainable using digital transformation?
Cluster SIVI attended FORTH, Heraklion Crete (Greece) from November 14th to 16th, together with its partner Leon Research, within the framework of the MEDIC NEST project, of which cluster SIVI is part of its consortium.
For three days we had the opportunity to discuss the progress and results of the project with Imago-Mol Cluster, MEDVIA, Hellenic Biocluster (HBio), Biocat, BioRegión de Catolonia, Hellenic Digital Health Cluster, ROHEALTH – The Health and Bioeconomy Cluster and Digital Innovation Zone EDIH.
On the first day of work, the progress of the MEDIC NEST consortium regarding the creation of a MetaCluster focused on Precision Medicine was presented. The mission, vision and specific strategic goals to develop the project were identified, as well as the barriers and accepted actions.
The second day allowed us to learn more about projects developed at FORTH associated with digital transformation in the socio-health sector in Greece, addressing topics such as High Performance Computing and its application in personalized medicine and health, as well as digital innovation and services. . e-Health developed by the Center for eHealth Applications and Services (CeHA).
The third and last session focused on Business Models focused on Clusters. We had the opportunity to share with Alberto Baldi from ClusterPRO (Italy) who delved into the business and financing models of the Clusters and the Cluster Value Triangle.
We deeply thank Hellenic Biocluster (HBio) and its manager Stamitiki Kritas for the organization and invitation to be part of the conference. Without a doubt it was a very fruitful event.
