The European Commission (DG GROW) has launched a final evaluation of the Competitiveness of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises programme (COSME) that ran from 2015-21 and an ex-post evaluation of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (EIP) that ran from 2008-14. Both programmes provided support for strengthening competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and enhancing entrepreneurship.

The findings of these evaluations will help shape future support measures under the SME Pillar of the Single Market Programme, and the InvestEU Programme.

The Commission has selected a consortium led by the Centre for Strategy and Evaluation Services (CSES) to conduct an independent study supporting these evaluations.

A central aspect of this evaluation is a consultation with individuals and organisations that have participated in the various actions and services funded through COSME and the EIP.

We would like to ask you a few questions about the support received and the impact it had on your organisation and business.

The survey will take approximately 20 minutes to complete and will run from Monday 7th August until Monday 25th September.
