The 18th Textile ETP Annual Conference will take place as a physical event on 14-15 May in Mechelen, Belgium. We welcome our members as well as other professionals interested in sustainable textile innovation, EU research funding opportunities and the fascinating world of textile start-up and scale-up businesses from all over Europe.
In these 2 days, we will:
- Present the EU Textile Research Partnership, the first ever EU research and innovation funding programme fully dedicated to the textile sector
- Celebrate the increasing success of textile start-ups and how they overcome funding and scaling challenges with support from the European Innovation Council
- Discuss the future direction of an industry disrupted by major technology shifts, a new regulatory regime and non-traditional business models.
The event will feature visionary plenary lectures, interactive thematic break-out sessions, thought-provoking panel debates, and plenty of networking opportunities. The event also offers the opportunity to take part in a site visit of HOGENT's FTILab+ on Monday 13 May, in the afternoon. The event will also be combined with the annual General Assembly of the Textile ETP.
