Since April 2023, the UNIMOS Foundation has been working on the development of three new cluster services to support members of the AgroBioCluster in digital transformation. These new services were created as part of the IMPACTO project, funded from the Mazowieckie Voivodeship budget.

The creation process was divided into three stages. The first stage – designing new services – was focused on collecting feedback from cluster members and partners to prioritize their needs in terms of desired content and format. The second stage involved developing the content of the three new services, while the third stage focused on the pilot implementation of the new services.

The INSPIRATOR is a cluster service aimed to support companies in building knowledge and awareness of digital solutions (including Industry 4.0) applicable in traditional industries or agriculture. The NAVIGATOR service was focused on supporting businesses in navigating available sources of national and international funding in easy and fast way. The DEMONSTRATOR service was oriented towards supporting businesses in pilot implementations of demonstrative applications of available technologies and digital solutions for their operations in terms of digitalization and digital transformation.

Under the INSPIRATOR service, two synergistic components were organized. The first component, an inspiration webinar, was aimed to present the latest global trends and innovations in the field of digitalization and development of the agri-food industry. The second component, a phygital study visit, took place from October 24 to 26, 2023, in The Netherlands. Phygital is an innovative combination of physical and digital experiences, in which UNIMOS – the AgroBioCluster coordinator – invited participants to a unique immersive program into the Dutch innovation ecosystem. For three days, cluster members and partners had the opportunity to virtually participate in a mission to Wageningen, a global and European center for agri-food innovation, where the UNIMOS Foundation reported in near-real time on the latest trends, inspirations, and solutions for the digital and circular transformation of agriculture.

The NAVIGATOR service included the implementation of a new interactive navigation model for funding sources, highlighting both national and foreign funding. It provided a compilation and direct references to specific cascade, national, consortia, and crowdfunding calls through which innovation and digitization in the agri-food industry could be financed.

On the other hand, DEMONSTRATOR was a service for the pilot implementation of digital solutions from the agri-food industry operating in the Mazowieckie Voivodeship, readily applicable in the agri-food industry. These solutions significantly impacted the company's existing operations and were cost-effective. Various companies operating in different links of the agri-food value chain participated in pilot implementations, incorporating artificial intelligence, digital tools enhancing management efficiency, and sales.

The implementation of the services was promoted during the 13th edition of the Mazovia Development Forum, held on November 14-15, 2023, in Warsaw. Additionally, the UNIMOS Foundation promoted the activities during a business meeting in Radom on December 8, 2023. Publications were also prepared in both Polish and English.

After the services were implemented, an evaluation was conducted using various techniques such as participant observation, individual interviews, and virtual feedback collection to refine the implemented services and offer them to cluster members and partners.

The IMPACTO project enabled the increase of knowledge, awareness, and skills of cluster members, partners, and the cluster management team in the processes of transformation towards Industry 4.0. The project supported the creation of new services for cluster members. Its implementation also strengthened the visibility of the cluster, its members, their offerings, and presence on social media.

The IMPACTO project is financed from the funds of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship budget.
