Leaders International offers South Mediterranean clusters an exploration of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) ecosystem in Jordan.
From 11-13 May 2024, Leaders International, in partnership with the Information and Communication Technology Association of Jordan (Int@j), is organising a Face-to-Face Academy and Benchmarking visit in Jordan as part of the Euromed Clusters Forward project. This three-day mission provides a unique opportunity for South Mediterranean clusters to discover the dynamism of the ICT sector in Jordan and to explore market access opportunities in the Gulf region through the country.
Visit to the King Hussein Business Park in Amman
The first day will begin with a visit to the King Hussein Business Park in Amman. This dynamic park is a true hub of innovation and economic activity in Jordan. Companies of all sizes, from start-ups to large corporations, work together to foster innovation. Participants will have the opportunity to visit its state-of-the-art facilities and research laboratories. The programme will include interactive sessions, presentations on the ICT sector and demonstrations of emerging technologies.
Xpand Conference near the Dead Sea
The second day will be spent at the Xpand Conference, a leading event for technology and ICT industry professionals. Held near the Dead Sea, the conference provides an ideal platform to explore the latest trends and innovations in the industry. Participants will be able to take part in workshops, discussions and networking events covering a wide range of topics, from artificial intelligence to cybersecurity and digital transformation.
Meeting academic excellence at the University of Jordan
The final day is dedicated to a visit to the University of Jordan, accompanied by Int@j. Participants will have the opportunity to discover the University’s Information Technology Centre, which is committed to enhancing education through quality software, hardware and online services. Educational sessions and networking opportunities with the ICT Department and the Centre of Excellence will also be organised.
Who is this immersive mission specifically aimed at?
This Face-to-Face Academy and Benchmarking visit is specifically aimed at clusters and their member companies based in Tunisia, Egypt, Lebanon, Palestine, Algeria, Jordan and Morocco.
