Korea’s measures to promote the transition to a “Resource Circulation Economy and Society” is foreseen to drive investments in environment and water technologies. Since 2009, Korea has worked to integrate green growth into its overall industrial development strategy, increasing the environmental market share by 15% annually, where it reached EUR 92 billion in 2014.
Business opportunities for European companies are plentiful in the waste-to-energy technologies, water supply chain, technologies linked to air pollution control, noise and vibration control, and innovative solutions for soil restoration.
EU Gateway | Business Avenues confirmed a business mission to Seoul from 10-14 September 2018 focused in environment & water technologies.
Each selected European companies will benefit from standard services, fully financed by the EU: scheduling of individual business meetings, promotion of their product in the Korean market, a built-up booth at the 2-day business exhibition, and a personal interpreter.
