Time and dates: EUvsVirus Matchathon  - 22nd to 25th May 2020

The COVID-19 pandemic resulted in very serious restrictions, including social distancing. But all is not dark: it also brought #solidarity and a sense of community, while we search for solutions to a better future.More than 20.000 problem solvers from all over the world joined the #EUvsVirus community in what is said to be the biggest hackathon ever organised, focused on co-creating the best solutions to hack this crisis and its aftermath.  

More than 2100 solutions were submitted and among those 120 teams were chosen as winners and runner-ups.Now, it’s time for phase 2, the #Matchathon!

It’s time to pair those champions with corporates, investors, accelerators, venture capitalists, business angels or private companies from all over the world to put their innovative solutions into production and save lives together!We have tailored journeys for each team which includes:- Workshops- Individual coaching- Experts sessions to support best approaches- Matchmaking meetings with partnersEUvsVirus is a pan-European Hackathon + Matchathon program organized by the European Commission under the patronage of Mariya Gabriel.
