Luxembourg: call StartupsVsCovid19

The Ministry of the Economy in Luxembourg, together with Luxinnovation and their partners (Technoport, HOST, LHOFT and LCI), have published a call for start-ups to support them and to boost the development of technological solutions/products/services that will tackle the COVID-19 crisis and its economic, sanitary and societal impact. With this present call for proposals, the Ministry is looking to select the best projects focusing on the development of technology-based innovative products and services intended to limit, or even overcome, the economic, health and societal effects of the crisis.

Eligible applicants are all types of young companies with less than 5 years of existence. To be eligible for a grant, the participant must have a legal entity and operational activities in Luxembourg. The grant will cover 100% of the identified need in line with the objectives of the project with an upper ceiling of 150,000 EUR.

The application deadline is 30 April 2020, 17:00 CET.

Selected startups

Over 300 startups responded to this call-for-projects, 15 of which have been selected and will receive financial support of up to €150,000 granted by the Ministry of the Economy. Details about the projects and companies could be found here.
