There is significant heavy industrial activity in Brazil, much of this in energy-intensive sectors. The country has historically had relatively abundant and clean energy, but recent rises in energy costs and the carbon emissions associated with electrical production are likely to focus attention on the sector of energy efficiency in industry.
Industrial energy efficiency may be divided into various sub-sectors, representing the main types of technologies, services and processes, which could also represent business opportunities for European companies. It should be noted that in many cases, companies will need a local partner in order to be able to supply technologies, services and processes to the Brazilian market.

It is likely that the matchmaking mission will involve many intermediary companies looking to form partnerships in order to offer European technologies, processes and services into the Brazilian market.

We are glad to inform that the CALL FOR APPLICATIONS for the EU-financed matchmaking-mission on “Energy Efficiency in Industry” is officially opened from Monday, 3rd of April to Sunday 30th of April.

TRAVEL COSTS OF SELECTED SMEs WILL BE 80% REIMBURSED.

The matchmaking mission is organized in institutional partnership with Sebrae (Serviço Brasileiro de Apoio à Micro e Pequena Empresa), CNI (Confederação Nacional da Indústria) in line with the Feira FEIMAFE Exhibition/Fair 2017 in Ribeirão Preto, SP, Brasil.
