Call for Tenders: European Cluster Collaboration Platform

DEADLINE: 31 July 2019

Tender reference number: EASME/2019/OP/0013

The Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EASME) has launched a call for tender with a view to conclude a service contract for the recreation of the European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP) and the revision and development of services in support of clusters and other related activities.

The objective of this action is to promote the development of more world-class clusters in Europe, with a view to fostering the competitiveness, sustainability and resource-efficiency of enterprises, notably SMEs.

It aims at intensifying cluster collaboration across regional and sectoral boundaries and facilitating SMEs’ access to clusters and internationalisation activities.

The ultimate goal is to better connect clusters and ecosystems across Europe in order to accelerate industrial modernisation and boost entrepreneurship in emerging industries with growth potential. It will facilitate more strategic inter-regional collaboration and internationalisation activities of SMEs as well as the implementation of smart specialisation strategies and cluster policies by linking up and supporting cluster stakeholders across Europe.

The new platform is merging with The European Resource Efficiency Knowledge Centre - EREK and the European Observatory for Clusters and Industrial Change, to become the European online hub for cluster stakeholders across Europe and a reference for cluster stakeholders in third countries wishing to establish partnerships with European counterparts. It will also encompass linkages to other EU cluster initiatives and initiatives at EU level that are of relevance for clusters and smart specialisation.   Please find all tender documents here.   The call was published on ec.europa.eu website here. © European Union, 1995-2019
