COMTES FHT a.s., a Czech privately owned research organization that pursues research and development (R&D) of advanced metals, non-metallic materials and methods and technologies for their processing. It also provides custom R&D services in the fields of computer modelling, software development, engineering design, manufacture of prototypes and specimens for testing, materials testing and elaborates expert reports on materials. In addition, the company contributes to educating young technical experts - students of Master's and Doctoral programs studying at partner universities in the Czech Republic (CZ) and abroad.

The research organization COMTES FHT was founded in 2000. COMTES FHT has successfully carried out and completed more than 40 R&D projects, including three projects of the EU Framework Programmes. The Leibniz Institute of Polymer Research Dresden (IPF) is one of the largest polymer research facilities in Germany. Doseo offers radiotherapy technology research and development resources unrivaled in Europe. Manufacturers, researchers, and clinicians can use our state-of-the art equipment for their own research and work with our expert scientists and technicians on joint R&D projects. 

One of Doseo’s missions is to open its doors to and build relationships with and between all radiotherapy stakeholders. Cooperation takes the form of partnerships between CEA LIST R&D scientists and technicians and manufacturing companies, academic institutions, and treatment centers.

These partnerships are designed to transfer new technology to businesses; speed the innovation process by leveraging diverse know-how from various disciplines; and take into account the viewpoints of end users, whose recommendations and approvals are vital to the process.

VTT is a broad-scope contributor in international nuclear research. We provide contract services internationally - about 20% of commercial assignments are coming from abroad. VTT is independent and has a solid reputation as the leading Technical Support Organisation of the Finnish nuclear safety authority (STUK) for more than 30 years.

The VTT Centre for Nuclear Safety facility executes a wide range of research and testing activities on materials utilized in nuclear power plants and spent fuel final repository systems, particularly activities involving radioactive substances.A portfolio of standardized and accredited methods as well as sophisticated tools and techniques are available.Nuclear power plant operators and suppliers can have their materials tested for mechanical and chemical performance, and analysed for compositional and microstructural characteristics, both in the new, unused condition, as well as after operation in the plant environment or after accelerated aging or radiation exposures.

. Polifab is an open-access, pay-per-use facility, open to research groups of Politecnico as well as to external research institutions and industries. Some processes can be run by the technical staff of Polifab and offered as service to external companies or research groups. In most of the cases, however, researchers are supposed to enter the cleanroom and become users of the facilities, after proper training courses given by the technical staff of Polifab.

To access the cleanroom facilities first contact the Polifab staff to discuss your technological need, verify the feasibility at Polifab, quantify the amount of time needed and identify the model of use: service or user.

 

Service model

The Polifab staff will execute the required processes, characterization or prototyping within the framework of a research or service contract. No direct access of personnel from the external research group or company is required.
