LIGHT TECHNOLOGIES IN TRANSPORT, MANUFACTURING, ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT - SUCCESS STORIES ON CROSS SECTORIAL INNOVATION
Organized within the scope of the RespiceSME european project, this event focuses on stimulating collaborations between the player in the field of photonics and the domains of smart manufacturing, mobility/transportation sytsems and energy environement. The consortium is composed of 10 european clusters in the field of photonics. Each cluster analyzed the value chain associated to the domain and involves their members to stimulate business opportunities and innovation/R&D project emergence.
RespiceSME invites you to follow-up on the newest trends in photonics application in these industries at this workshop at the Internet of Things Solutions World Congress on October 3rd.
Photonics impact and transform the sectors of energy/environment, transport & manufacturing. From solar cells to autonomous driving and 3D printing – photonics are essential to key technologies in these sectors and a driving force for the development of new products and solutions. And with the Internet of Things on the rise, photonics applications for telecommunication, data collection and processing will get even more important.
Listen to success stories of photonics regarding cross-sectorial innovation at the RespiceSME gathering at IoT Barcelona. Representatives of SMEs and large companies will present business cases at the event and share about the main challenges and opportunities for photonics in transport, manufacturing and energy & environment. Each sector presentation will be followed by a mapping session of business opportunities.
