The European Committee of the Regions (CoR) launched the 2017 edition of the European Entrepreneurial Region (EER) award at the European SME Assembly in Luxembourg on 18 November. The EER award is open to all EU regions and cities that are ready to implement an ambitious strategy to support their SMEs and entrepreneurs. The deadline to apply for the EER 2017 label is 18 March 2016.
